Scan buff
When the Pathfinder takes the Scan action and targets a Character, they may Ask one of the following questions in addition:
- What Movement Types and Speeds does the Character have and Is their Speed Orthogonal?
- What senses does the Character have?
- What is the size of the Character’s Seek?
- Where is that Character going to move next?
The Pathfinder may instead Ask ‘Where does that Character want to be on its turn’, and spend a Momentum to specify how the Character will move in order to reach that goal. The Character will not knowingly put itself in additional / unnecessary danger with this ability.
When the Pathfinder takes the Scan action and targets Terrain or an Object, they may Ask one of the following questions in addition:
- How difficult is this to traverse?
- What are the targets non-magical effects and tags.

When the Pathfinder Navigates with a Guide, their group and Fortress can use the Pathfinder’s Speed instead of their own.
Speed Again?
The Pathfinder gains +1 Speed.
While Navigating, the Pathfinder, their group, and their Fortress ignore the penalty for traversing through Mountains and can travel through High Mountains with the penalty of Mountains.
